Wim Smeet is the founder and the artistic director of the Muziekgieterij in Maastricht in the Netherland. In this podcast he talks how the Belgium phenomena Arno Hintjens was his teacher, how Robert Cray changed his life and how poison ivy (brandnetel) became the start of a music venue. Wim talks about the way he changed and shaped the music industry in Maastricht. The Cultural Capital of the Euregio used to be a barren desert for pop lovers and it is Wim's dream  to change that forever and make Maastricht the Showcase for European pop muziek.
